Some Great New Shots, Gainsco Racing Corvette Race Car

While we were out traveling on Saturday, October 12th, 2014, we saw this race car out in front of the Commonwealth Insurance Agencies shop over by Food Line here in Gloucester, Virginia.

These folks had free food and drinks and were giving away free insurance quotes.  You have to love a company willing to go through so much trouble to show you how much they would like to have your business and why they think they can do a better job than anyone else.

How much does a race car like this one cost?  We asked that question and the answer came back anywhere from half a million to one million.  Wow.  And how fast does this car go?  Over 200 mph and they have easily had it up to 250 mph.  Horsepower?  Between 530 to 625 depending which engine is in it.  0 to 60?  3 seconds.  Now that is fast.
